Registration and Regulation of Cosmetic Products
for Dubai - UAE

Cosmetic products, like detergents and food supplements, are regulated in the UAE under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry (MoiAT).

ESMA (Emirates Authority of Standardization and Metrology) is the body responsible for ensuring and supervising the safety of cosmetic products.
Complying with relevant regulations and registering the product through a Representative in the UAE is mandatory before marketing a cosmetic in the country.

Through our office in Dubai we can register your cosmetic products in the UAE ensuring their regulatory compliance.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE IN DUBAI-UAE

Registering your cosmetic products in the UAE is essential for anyone looking to enter the market in this region. The UAE government strictly regulates the production, sale and import of these products, so it is mandatory to register them before launching them on the market.

The registration of cosmetic products in the United Arab Emirates is a process regulated by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA ). This body establishes the safety and quality regulations that all cosmetic products must comply with before being placed on the market. GSO 1943/2016 and the Emirates Conformity Assessment System (ECAS) are fundamental in this process, ensuring that products comply with technical requirements in terms of health, labeling and packaging.

Only locally registered companies can complete the registration. This ensures that all cosmetic products in the UAE comply with current regulations and can be distributed safely.

At Belab Services we can efficiently register your cosmetic products, maintaining control of your brand and designating exclusive distributors or retailers.
